Our parent company, Nomax, Inc., was founded by chemists in St. Louis, Missouri in 1982. Their first product was Effer-K: a physician-prescribed effervescent potassium supplement that went on to become the industry standard, with millions of doses prescribed every year.

For 44 years, Nomax quietly became one of the most trusted names in effervescent manufacturing — making products for physicians, and behind the scenes, for some of America’s most well-known consumer supplement brands. We mastered the science. We built the facility. We did the work.
